Tawaaful Qudoom is Sunnat for the Aafaaqi who is performing Ifraad or Qiraan Hajj
but is not so for the one performing Tamat’tu or Umrah even if he is an Aafaaqi. Similarly,
the residents of Makkah too are exempted from this Tawaaf.
Tawaaful Qudoom is only Masnoon for a resident of Makkah if he leaves the Meeqat
and enters Makkah to perform Hajj-e-Qiraan or Hajj-e-Ifraad.
The last time to perform Tawaaful Qudoom is just before the onset of Wuqoof-e-Arafat.
It is Makrooh to perform this Tawaaf with Najaasat on the body or clothes. However, no penalty is obligatory.
